Darren Bent has been named in the England U21 squad for next week's friendly against Spain.

The Town striker will join up with Peter Taylor's squad on Sunday, November 14 before departing for Spain with the game taking place on the Tuesday at the Estadio Municipal el Val, Alcala de Henares.

Darren has made nine appearances for the U21s, scoring seven goals in that time.

Matt Richards and Ian Westlake, who have both appeared in Taylor's U21 squads this season, have not been included.

Former Blue, Darren Ambrose, will join his close friend Benty on the trip though.
