Tommy Miller still has a chance of playing against Sunderland on Sunday after x-rays revealed no major damage to his elbow.

The midfielder sustained the injury in the first-half of the 1-0 win over Leeds at the weekend and there were worries that he may have suffered a crack to the joint.

But Town physio Dave Williams had better news for the Club website, saying: "There is no major damage.

                Tommy - no break

"He's had scans and there is no clear break. It's a case of bone bruising more than anything else.

"He has certainly had a fair whack on the elbow and has extensive swelling at the moment.

"He can't bend his arm and until he can do that then he won't be in any position to play but we have a week to get him right and we will see how it goes.

"At the moment he has to be doubtful for Sunday but it's certainly too early to rule him out."
