Owen hoping
Owen Garvan is hoping to keep his place in the squad for the trip to Crewe after appearing on the bench in last weekend's win over Brighton.
It was the 16-year-old Irish midfielder's first call-up to the senior set-up and he revelled in the big match atmosphere.
"It was great to be involved, just walking out with the other lads and warming up was amazing," Owen told the Club website.
"I was surprised when the gaffer told me I was in the squad but delighted as well and it was just a shame that I couldn't get on at the end.
"I think the boss was going to give me 10 minutes or so if we were two or three goals ahead but it was too tight at 1-0."
Owen has only played in four reserve team games this season after joining the Club's Academy in the summer and adds: "I didn't expect to be moving forward as quickly as I have but it's been great.
"I'd only been to Portman Road a couple of times before the Brighton game. Jim Magilton showed me around the place and when I walked into the dressing-room and saw my name and number on the peg, it was just amazing."
