Town have pipped promotion rivals Wigan and West Ham to one Championship trophy already this season.

The Club have taken top prize in the Championship category of Directors' Choice in the National Association of Caterers' awards.

"We were shortlisted with West Ham, Wigan, Sheffield United and Coventry for the prize which is based on visiting Directors' comments on hospitality and catering on matchday," says Town's Hospitality and Events Manager, Adam Hateley.

"We pride ourselves on supplying a good standard of service in all areas of our hospitality and receiving the award was a real boost for everyone concerned."

Adam, his assistant Sophie Worne and head chef Chris Legendre were at Villa Park to accept the trophy.
