Kevin Horlock is out of Town's top of the table clash with Wigan on December 21 after picking up a fifth booking of the season in the win at QPR.

The former Northern Ireland international was booked for a late challenge in the second-half of the 4-2 victory and will serve his one match suspension against the Latics.

"That was another reason to bring Darren Currie in because we knew we were light in midfield and with Kevin out, it would have meant playing 433 instead of having the option of sticking with four across the middle of the park," says Town boss Joe Royle.
