Wigan boss remembered

Posted on: Fri 17 Dec 2004

There will be a minute's silence before Tuesday's game against Wigan in memory of former Latics boss Harry McNally whose funeral will take place earlier in the day.

McNally, who was in charge of the club between 1983-85, passed away last Sunday.

Current Wigan boss Paul Jewell was handed his debut at the club by McNally, as was Latics' first team coach and former Town striker David Lowe, with physio Alex Cribley also playing under his management.

Tuesday night's game means all three will not be able to attend the funeral service.
