No kids in for Bolton

Posted on: Thu 06 Jan 2005

Joe Royle says he will make changes for the FA Cup-tie against Bolton but he won't be throwing in the youngsters for Saturday's Third Round clash.

Danny Karbassiyoon, on loan from Arsenal, is unavailable for the game because the Gunners don't want him Cup-tied and Drissa Diallo is still recovering from a hamstring injury.

Other than that, Joe has a full squad to pick from and told the Club website: "We will be looking at making changes for the Bolton match.

"It's been a heavy schedule of games over the last week or so and we will mix it up a bit but it won't be a case of putting in a load of the youngsters.

Scott Barron - recovering from surgery

"We may bring one or two into the squad but it will be minimal."

Academy players Scott Barron and Gerard Nash are both recovering from surgery and wouldn't be available for the game anyway.

Saturday's game kicks off at 3.00pm.
