Daniel Karbassiyoon has been added to the squad for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Bolton after Arsenal had a change of mind in allowing the defender to play.

The Gunners had initially told the Club that they didn't want the Virginia-born left-back to appear in the Third Round game because they didn't want him Cup-tied.

Danny - cleared by Arsenal to play

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has used fringe players in his squad in previous FA Cup campaigns but the Highbury club has now given permission for Danny to line up against Bolton if selected.

The American U19 international is currently on loan at Portman Road for a month and has another two weeks to run on that deal but told the Club website that he would love to extend that.

"I'm really enjoying my time here and if I get the chance to stay longer, that would be great," he said.
