Antonio Murray has signed for Hibs until the end of the season while Canadian teenager Jaime Peters is set to commit his future to Town over the weekend.

Murray has been training with Scottish Premier club Hibs this week and they have now taken on his contract for the duration of the season.

The 20-year-old midfielder made one appearance for Blues in the 4-1 win at Derby on the last day of the 2002/03 season.

He will be among familiar faces in Scotland though. His new boss is former Town skipper and first-team coach Tony Mowbray, while ex-Blue Mark Venus is assistant to Mogga.

Included in the Hibs line-up is Sam Morrow, who progressed through the Academy team alongside Murray at Portman Road.

While Murray ends his association with Town, 17-year-old Canadian Jaime Peters is hoping to begin his this weekend.

After having trials at a number of clubs in England, including Manchester United, the pacy midfielder or frontman has opted for Town and is set to sign a contract commitment over the next 24 hours that will see him team up with the Club in May.

Jaime is an international team-mate of Jason De Vos and made his debut for the Canadian national team in their 2-0 World Cup qualifying defeat by Guatemala last August.

Born in Ontario, he has won four international caps and was recommended to Town by Canada's national team coach and former Blue, Frank Yallop.
