Kevin Horlock is confident that he will fit for Friday's game at Preston after returning to training following a shoulder injury.

The Town midfielder sustained the injury making a terrific tackle to stop Mark de Vries from getting a shot in during in Blues' 2-1 win over Leicester on Saturday.

He missed training on Monday but made a surprise return today, telling the Club website: "I didn't expect to be back in training until Thursday but the shoulder is improving all the time.

"It was very sore over the weekend and it didn't look great but it has picked up quickly over the last 24 hours and I should be fine for the Preston game."
