Town's main sponsor Powergen has renewed its sponsorship of the Club for the 2005/06 season.

The deal will see the UK's largest integrated energy company enter its third year as the main sponsor at Portman Road.

Andrew Goulborn, Sales and Marketing Director at the Club said: "We are absolutely delighted that Powergen has extended its sponsorship of Ipswich Town.

"Over the last two seasons, Powergen has clearly demonstrated the strength of its support for the Club and we see this renewed commitment as a very significant and positive move for us.

"We look forward to continuing our very good, close working relationship during what promises to be an exciting season ahead. "

Fans will be able to purchase the new design home shirt, featuring the Powergen logo, from Club shops and online store from the 14th May, with those who have pre-ordered their new shirts able to collect them from May 7.

During the 2005/6 season, Powergen will be working alongside the Club to broaden its existing range of exclusive Money Can't Buy opportunities for Ipswich Town Fans.These will include match day experiences for children, Powergen Football Skills Masterclasses for schools and local football clubs, as well as behind the scenes trips to the Training Ground at Playford Road.

These opportunities will be made available to fans from the beginning of next season and will be promoted through competitions in the local media as well in the official matchday programme.
