SAME AGAIN SAYS JIM
Jim Magilton is looking for his team to repeat the performance shown in last week's derby when Blues take on Wolves on Saturday.
Town swept aside Norwich at Portman Road to boost the Club's Play-Off hopes and now face eighth placed Wolves, who are two points behind Blues with a game in hand.
A victory for Town at Molineux could see the Club move into the top six if Crystal Palace drop points at fellow Play-Off rivals Watford but Jim refuses to look at all the equations until 5pm on Saturday.
"It's a big game for us at Wolves because it's the next game, that's the main reason," Jim told Ipswich World.
"Nothing will be decided this weekend. We will have a clearer picture after the match of what's got to happen obviously and we know that if we win at Wolves, it will put some daylight between them and us.
"The Play-Offs will go to the wire and we need to make sure we are involved going into the last game of the season but the most important thing is that we are on our game on Saturday.
"We need to recreate the same desire to get a result, the same intensity of play that we showed against Norwich last week. We need the same level of performance.
"Wolves are a very good side and if we are not very good on the day, then we will get nothing from the game.
"We had them watched against West Brom on Tuesday and they were unlucky not to get something from the match.I have the utmost respect for their manager Mick McCarthy and he will have his players fired up.
"Their crowd will be right behind them and it's important that we stand up to the pressure they will look to put on us over the first 20 minutes.
"But we are going there on the back of a good performance and the confidence that brings. We are going there with the belief that we can win the game."
Town will be missing David Norris, who is still sidelined with a heel injury while Shefki Kuqi has been ruled out with a hamstring problem that he aggravated in last week's win over Norwich. Both players are making good progress and could be in contention to feature next week.
Velice Sumulikoski is out for the rest of the season after suffering a partially torn artery in his shin but Alex Bruce has recovered from a back problem.
Town have not won at Molineux since November 1991 but the Club did go on to win promotion to the Premier League that season.
Town will be in blue for the game, which kicks-off at 3pm and subscribers to Ipswich World can watch an in-depth preview of the match from the Ipswich World team, including studio guest Jason De Vos, in today's Town TV News broadcast which will go out later this afternoon. Full live commentary from Molineux will also be available.
