Born: 24th October, 1987 in Trinidad
Began his career in the English league with Wrexham in 2000 after joining them from Trinidad's Defence Force. He spent five years at the Racecourse Ground, making 180 appearances for the club before joining Luton in May 2005. Became a firm favourite with the Luton fans in his 18 months at the club and it took a £1.4m cheque to prise him away from Kenilworth Road to join Roy Keane at Sunderland in January 2007, making his League debut against Town that month. He became a regular in the Black Cats' midfield and helped them to promotion to the Premier League that season. Has been capped more than 70 times for Trinidad. Signed a two year deal at Portman Road in August 2009.
