A product of the Academy and the youngest player to represent the Club in European football when he made his debut against Avenir Beggen in the UEFA Cup in August 2002 aged 17. Scored his first Town goal in the live televised win over Stoke at Portman Road in the 2003/04 season. Capped by England at U21 level, making his debut against Ukraine in August 2004. Can play at left-back but is now preferred in midfield.
