The 26-year-old midfielder arrived on trial at Portman Road in January 2008 and immediately made an impact with the Town coaching staff. Started his career at NK Publikum, playing 56 times before moving on to FC Slovacko in 2002, where he made 55 appearances. Spent two years there before joining top Russian side Zenit St Petersburg in 2004, making 75 appearances and playing for the club in their UEFA Cup campaigns.
Moved on to Bursaspor in 2006, playing in the top flight of the Turkish league. He has been a regular in the Macedonia national team since making his debut in 2002 and played in both 2008 European Championship qualifiers against England, helping his country to a goalless draw against Steve McClaren's side at Old Trafford in October 2006. Has made 49 appearances for his country, scoring one goal.
