Joined Town's Academy as a first year scholar in 2009/10 but had already made his first team debut, becoming the youngest player in the Club's history when he came on as a second-half substitute against Doncaster in April 2009 aged 16 years and 11 days. Capped by England at U17 level he scored the winning goal in the U17 European Championships Final in the summer of 2010.
