TOWN 2 SOUTHEND 2

Posted on: Wed 20 Jan 2010
Tamas Priskin and Lee Martin were on target as the reserves drew with Southend at the training ground.

Hungarian international Priskin gave Blues the lead on 20 minutes, heading in Martin's cross but the Shrimpers responded with strikes from Scott Spencer and Jamie Dennis before the break.

Martin had a shot saved, then Ed Upson fired over before Blues levelled six minutes from time, Martin converting from the spot after he was fouled in the box.

Ben Thatcher played the first-half in his first action of the season after being hindered with a knee injury, while Shane O'Connor and Upson also played following a return from injury and illness.
