WYCOMBE 1 TOWN 2

Posted on: Wed 03 Mar 2010

Tom Eastman and Lee Martin were on target as Town gained revenge for last week's home defeat by Wycombe.

The Chairboys were unbeaten in the reserve league this season going into the game at Maidenhead's York Road ground but fell behind to Eastman's finish just before half-time.

Wycombe, who beat Blues 2-1 at the training ground a week ago, levelled the scores early in the second-half through
Kadeem Harris' header but Martin's individual run and fine finish midway through the half sealed the win for Steve Foley's side.

Ed Upson and Martin had chances to add to the scoreline while Richard Wright got another game under his belt as he continues his recovery from knee ligament damage.
