Ipswich Town and Mitre have a four year partnership that sees the British sports brand supply the Club with home and away kits, training and benchwear until May 2011.

The deal marks Mitre's return to the football kit design and development arena after a seven year absence, having previously worked with international and domestic teams including Cameroon, Burnley and Hibernian. The company, established in 1817, has a strong football heritage, producing match balls for the Football League as well as a range of high quality footwear and accessories. The company is owned by the Pentland Group that also owns the Speedo, Berghaus and Kickers brands.
