The latest Fans Forum was held at Portman Road recently with discussions taking place between the Club and a group of supporters. Here are some of the topics that were on the agenda…
Retail Manager Elaine Hull confirmed that the manufacturer of the Never Ever range at Planet Blue is looking at extending the variety in children's and women's sizes.
Club Safety Officer Mick Warden gave the Forum members an overview of the safety procedures that are in place on matchday, with a detailed look at the medical facilities and expertise available; planning in the event of an emergency; training of stewards and crowd control.
Jenny Tait, the Club's Account Manager for TeamCard, was invited to explain in detail to the Forum the advantages of having a TeamCard. It was also discussed whether the Club intended to increase the number of participating outlets. Sales and Marketing Director, Andrew Goulborn, explained that the Club was exploring the shopping online route rather than recruiting smaller High Street retailers. Andrew added that the big High Street brands were being targeted, including a supermarket, fuel company and utility and telecom companies.
Season Ticket sales were discussed with the Club confirming that the uptake was running along similar lines to last season.
The Club expressed its intention to continue with the fans' forum next season, with the likely introduction of a Junior Blues version as well.
