Late goal sends young Blues through
Town progressed from the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup thanks to a 2-1 win away at Gillingham.
Armando Dobra and Kai Brown (pictured) netted for Adem Atay's side at Priestfield.
Blues took the lead shortly before half-time when Idris El Mizouni's effort from range was too fierce for the Gills 'keeper to hold, and Dobra followed in well to slot home.
One up at the break, Town continued to press but found themselves level when Gillingham's Roman Campbell curled the ball past Toby Egan.
But the visitors found the crucial winner with three minutes left to play. A free-kick from the edge of the area cannoned off the crossbar and fell kindly to Brown in the box - the striker making no mistake from close range.
TOWN: Egan, Crowe (Ronan 64), Smith, Scott, (Curtis 77), Clements, Vega, K Brown, El Mizouni, Z Brown, Dobra, Hughes (Foudil 64). Attendance: 369.
