Smith gets 90 as Downes finds the target in Town recovery
Tommy Smith came through 90 minutes as Town recovered from two goals down to draw with the Robins.
The New Zealand international was playing his second game since being sidelined with a hamstring problem in August.
Flynn Downes went close early on for Blues but goals from Arnie Garita and Jake Andrews gave Bristol a two goal advantage at the break.
Ben Folami reduced the arrears just before the hour after excellent work by Myles Kenlock and then Downes levelled the scores after Ben Morris had been denied.
Town had a flurry of chances in the closing stages but City survived to take a share of the spoils.
