Hungry Taylor is exciting signing says PaulPaul Jewell has hailed the arrival of Paul Taylor as an exciting signing for the Club.
The 24-year-old striker put pen to paper on a three year contract at Portman Road late last night after joining Blues from Peterborough for an undisclosed fee.
“Paul has been in our sights for a while and I’m delighted to have him here,” the Town boss told the Club website.
“He’s an exciting signing for us. He can play up front or wide. He’s got pace, an eye for goal. He’s not the biggest player around but he’s got a bit of bite about him. Most importantly he’s got a hunger to succeed.
“He caused us problem when we played Peterborough last season and I’m confident he will go on to be a very good signing for the Club.”
Paul has been handed the number 26 shirt, while Daryl Murphy, who has joined on loan from Celtic until the end of the season, will wear number 27. Guirane N’Daw, who trained with Town for the first time yesterday after joining on a season long loan from St Etienne, wears eight.
