Town will be ready for the 'mystery' of Watford says Chris

Chris Hutchings admits Watford will have an air of mystery about them when Town visit Vicarage Road tonight.

The Hornets have new owners, a new manager in former Italy and Chelsea striker Gianfranco Zola and a number of new players after a summer takeover.

“There are a few players we don’t know much about and obviously Gianfranco is new to the job there,” Town’s assistant manager told the Club website.

“The nucleus of their squad is still the same though and we will have watched the DVDs of them before we kick-off, so we will be ready.

“It will be interesting to see the Italian influence at Watford and whether Gianfranco tries to get Watford playing the way he used to play.

“They had a great win at Crystal Palace at the weekend though and will be full of confidence so we know it’s going to be a tough game but we can take a lot of positives from our game against Blackburn. We’ve got to try and build on that.”

Town have a virtually fully fit squad. Andy Drury has had no ill effects after a calf injury saw him miss Blues’ opening game of the campaign, the Capital One Cup win over Bristol Rovers. Elliott Hewitt is the only absentee.

Ipswich Player will carry live commentary of the game. Kick-off at Vicarage Road is 7.45pm.
