LOACH LOOKS FORWARD

20 August 2012

'Keeper prepares for Vicarage Road return

Scott Loach is hoping to leave Vicarage Road with three points, as Town take on Watford tomorrow night (kick-off 7.45pm).

The ‘keeper left the Hornets in the summer to sign for the Blues and admits that he is looking forward to seeing his old teammates- but not during the 90 minutes.

“It will be nice to see a few old faces but once you step out onto the pitch that all becomes irrelevant and I’ll just be focusing on the game,” Scott told the Club website.

“I’m not sure what sort of reception I will get off the Watford fans, it will probably be mixed, but at the end of the day I will just be concentrating on trying to get three points for Ipswich.

“I know that Ipswich haven’t beat Watford in quite a few years now and I don’t think I’ve ever lost when playing against Ipswich, so hopefully that can change now I’m a Town player.”
