Teenager named in travelling party

 Byron Lawrence and Joe Whight have been included in the Town squad heading to Holland for next week's two game tour.The travelling squad: Ainsley, Bullard, Carson, Chambers, Chopra, Cresswell, Delaney, Drury, Edwards, Emmanuel-Thomas, Hewitt, Hyam, Lawrence, Lee-Barrett, Martin, Murray, Scotland, Stevenson, Whight. 

 The Club website will be out in Eindhoven with the squad and bring match reports and reaction from the manager and players. Both games kick-off at 7pm.

 Blues' boss Paul Jewell is also likely to use the opportunity to take a look at a couple of triallists in the five day stay in Holland.

Ronan Murray, Jack Ainsley, Josh Carson and Luke Hyam provide more youth in the squad while newboy Luke Chambers is set to wear a Town shirt in match action for the first time.

The 18-year-old defender, who joined the Club from Macclesfield in May, signing a three year deal, is not expected to be available for Blues until late September.

Also included in the travelling party that departs the UK for Eindhoven over the weekend is Elliott Hewitt, who is recovering from hip surgery.

He joined the Academy last month as a first year scholar but will now have further first-team opportunities against Helmond Sport next Tuesday and Den Bosch on the Thursday.

Midfielder Byron became Blues' second youngest player when he made his first-team debut aged 16 in the 3-2 win at Doncaster on the final day of last season.
