Cresswell free-kick earns Town second draw of tour

Aaron Cresswell's deflected free-kick late on gave Town a draw in the second game of the pre-season tour to Holland.

Town: Kello, Ainsley (Edwards 46) , Bakayoko (Cresswell 46), Chambers, Delaney (Whight 74), Hyam, Drury (Chopra 46), Bullard, Emmanuel-Thomas (Lawrence 67), Scotland (Murray 55), Bahamboula (Carson 46). Sub: Lee-Barrett.

It looked enough to win the game but Cresswell, another second-half substitute, gave Town a share of the spoils with his left foot free-kick that took a deflection to beat Bruno Appels in the Den Bosch goal.

Ralf Seuntjens and Tom van Weert linked up superbly to set up an opening for Wolters and his left foot strike fizzed past Marian Kello in the Town goal.

Michael Chopra was one of four replacements and went close with a right foot strike before the home side took the lead on 67 minutes with the one moment of real quality in the game.

Trialists Plaisir Bahamboula and Soualio Bakayoko were replaced at the break in two of four changes for the second-half, Drury and Jack Ainsley also making way.

Jason Scotland had a shot blocked in a first-half which saw more bookings than worthwhile efforts at goal, Andy Drury seeing yellow for a late challenge to join a Den Bosch opponent in the referee's book.

In a game of few chances, Jimmy Bullard sent an audacious lob over the bar from 40 yards, while at the other end Enzio Boldewijn hit the bar with a header.

The full-back fired in from 25 yards to cancel out Randy Wolters' excellent strike for Den Bosch.
