Everything you need to know if you're heading to the Reebok Stadium

Founded: 1874
Nickname: Trotters
Manager: Dougie Freedman
Ground name: Reebok Stadium
Capacity: 27,879
Colours: White and Blue

Directions: Pick up the M6 from your normal route. Follow signs for the M62 and leave at Junction 21a, following signs for Manchester. Join the M60 at Junction 12 and follow signs for the M61 towards Preston (don’t take the A666 towards Bolton). Turn off the M61 at Junction 6 and then take the third exit off the roundabout onto the A6027, the De Havilland Way. At the next roundabout, take a left turn onto Burnden Way and you will see the Reebok Stadium from there.

Parking: There are a number of car park facilities available at the stadium but these operated on a strictly first come, first served basis. Slightly further afield is the recommended St Josephs School, located at Horwich. Fans can park there for just £4 a game, with all the money raised going to the school to fund activities and projects. The school (BL6 6HW) is a five minute walk from the Reebok Stadium and misses a lot of the ‘congestion build-up’ adjacent to the ground after the full-time whistle.

By rail: The Reebok Stadium is located approximately 200 metres from Horwich Parkway Station. Trains regularly run from Manchester and Bolton.
