Striker joined by Luongo and Ellington as Mick looks to cast an eye over some of his first-team players

Town are set to include a number of first-team players in today’s U21 Development Squad game against Swansea at Playford Road (kick-off 11am) with Michael Chopra named in the squad.

The striker is joined by Nathan Ellington, Massimo Luongo, Josh Carson and Luke Hyam in the squad, whilst Elliott Hewitt is also expected to gain more minutes under his belt as he continues his recover from a hip injury.

‘Keeper Arran Lee-Barrett and defender Jack Ainsley also take their place amongst the 16.

It gives manager Mick McCarthy and his coaching staff the chance to cast an eye over the rest of his squad in game action, ahead of the weekend clash with Burnley.
