Striker will stay with the Iron until January

Nathan Ellington has joined Scunthorpe on loan until January.

The 31-year-old striker has not featured for Blues since coming off the bench as a second-half substitute in the draw at Barnsley in September.

He has made only three starts for Town since joining the Club on a two year deal in the summer of 2011, with 16 of his 19 appearances coming as a substitute.

Ellington trained with Town this morning before heading to Glanford Park, where he could make his debut for Iron in their home game against Notts County on Saturday.

The loan will keep the former Wigan frontman at Scunthorpe until January 5.
