N'Daw would welcome chance to stay but climbing table is priority

Guirane N’Daw has told the Club website that he would be interested in joining Town permanently but his priority is helping Blues climb the table.

The 28-year-old midfielder is on a year’s loan at Portman Road from French club St Etienne and has indicated that he’d like to see his future remain in England.

“I used to watch English football on the TV when I was younger and it was always my ambition to come over here and play,” Gi, who was on loan at Birmingham last season, told Ipswich Player.

“It was an easy decision to come here to Ipswich when the opportunity came up. I want to play my football here. I think I have the physical abilities to do well in English football.

“I am at Ipswich for the season and my first importance is to fight for the Club, fight to get Ipswich up the table.

“I want to take it step by step but yes why not, if a chance came along to get a long term contract here I would be happy. We will see.”
