Midfielder satisfied with a point but feels Blues had the chances to take all three points

Lee Martin was happy to ‘stop the rot’ with a point against Peterborough this afternoon, although felt Town could have taken all three points on another day.

The midfielder won Town a penalty just before the hour mark, which DJ Campbell slotted home to cancel out Lee Tomlin’s first-half opener for the visitors.

“I think on another day we could have nicked it,” Lee told the Club website.

“We had some good chances late on but it could have gone either way in the end in fairness.

“We’ll take the point as it stops the rot following Saturday’s defeat and it gives us something to build on going into Tuesday night.

“The game was a bit scrappy but that’s expected when both sides are low on confidence.

“There’s no doubting that the lads are determined to get us out of this position though. We will keep fighting to turn it around and that will be the same against Forest on Tuesday.”
