New boss hails his new assistant and believes Blues have acquired a fantastic coach
Mick McCarthy says Town have a top class coach in Terry Connor after adding the former Leeds striker to his staff at Portman Road.
The two worked together at Wolves, with Terry taking on the role as assistant manager to Mick at Blues this morning.
“He has a good football knowledge and has worked his way up from a community coach at Bristol Rovers to working at the top level.
“He prepares well for games, is good with the players and around the dressing-room and he demands high standards. He will be good for Ipswich Town.”
