Cressy leads the players' challenge in another successful Golf Day

A number of the Town first-team players and coaching staff were in action at the ever popular Club Golf Day on Wednesday.

Luke Chambers, Aaron Cresswell, Daryl Murphy and Ronan Murray took to the course, with coaches Chris Hutchings, Mark Kennedy, Bryan Klug, Sean McCarthy and Russell Osman also teeing off.  

There was an impressive turn-out of ex-players also taking part, spanning four decades, with Bryan Hamilton, Mick Mills, Jason Dozzell and Mick Stockwell all in action at host course Best Western Ufford Park.

Ronan Murray and Aaron Cresswell led the challenge for the players, with their team – the ITFC boys – finishing just a point behind winners Burdens.

ITFC Champion Golfer: Paul Goddard

The ITFC Golf Days are all day events, starting with bacon rolls, tea and coffee in the morning, followed by 18 holes of golf alongside current and ex-players and ITFC celebrities.  Team and individual prize presentations are held after the post-golf dinner.
