Danny expresses the feelings of the dressing-room to the Club website, with 'frustration' summing up the afternoon
Danny Higginbotham expressed the frustrations of the Town dressing-room, as Blues were beaten 2-1 by Hull thanks to an injury time winner from Nick Proschwitz.
A superb solo strike from Jay Emmanuel-Thomas had fired Paul Jewell’s side in front, before Proschwitz came off the bench to bag a brace and earn the Tigers all three points.
“It’s just a feeling of complete frustration to have lost to a goal in the last minute,” Danny told the Club website.
“This has happened in the last few games now and it is so disheartening to lose in that manner.
“Obviously, as you can imagine, the lads are gutted in the dressing-room and it’s just devastating in the way that we’ve lost the game.
“Hull were on top at the start of the game but we weathered that storm, got ourselves in front with a great goal from Jay (Emmanuel-Thomas) but then we couldn’t hang on, which is the disappointing thing.
“It’s really hard for us to take as a team but we’ve got to move on from this now and look ahead to Tuesday’s game.”
