Striker in contention for Amex visit but Luke a doubt
Town are hopeful that Michael Chopra will be fit for Tuesday’s trip to Brighton.
The striker has been sidelined for the last two games with a thigh problem but trained with the rest of the squad this morning.
Luke Hyam is a doubt for the clash at the Amex Stadium though after sustaining a back injury in Saturday’s draw at Barnsley.
“We’re hopeful about Chops,” Town’s assistant manager Chris Hutchings told the Club website.
“If there is no reaction to him training this morning then he will come into contention for the Brighton game and that’s a big plus for us.
“Luke is a concern though. He jarred his back at Barnsley and we will have another look at him before making a final decision.”
Chris also confirmed that Town will not be following up interest in former Tottenham and Portsmouth defender Ricardo Rocha, who spent last week on trial with Blues.
