Chief Exec tells the Club website that interviews are now underway as Town search for Paul Jewell's successor

The search for Town’s new manager is continuing, with Chief Executive Simon Clegg confirming to the Club website that interviews are now underway.

Blues were inundated with applications for the vacant manager’s position, with potential candidates from home and abroad applying, following Paul Jewell’s departure from Portman Road.

After working their way through the numerous applications, Simon and the Club’s owner, Marcus Evans, have now drawn up their shortlist and interviews are underway.

“We received a number of applications for the manager’s position from many well respected names in football,” Simon told the Club website.

“Having sifted through the applicants, we have now drawn up our shortlist and interviews are underway.”

As always, the Club website will be on hand to make any official announcement and you can also keep up to date with all the latest news by following the Blues on Twitter, @Official_ITFC.
