AN OLYMPIC JOURNEY: STEVE WILLIAMS

3rd Event of the Suffolk Punch Networking Series

SPEAKER: Steve Williams OBE, Double Gold Medallist

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Steve Williams won gold in the coxless fours rowing at both the 2004 Athens, where he lined up alongside Sir Matthew Pinsent, and 2008 Beijing Olympics. He also took gold at four World Championships. He retired from the sport in 2010 and last year joined former Wales rugby union international, Richard Parks, to climb Mount Everest, reaching the summit. Steve joined Town's backroom staff in July 2012, taking on a consultancy role that sees him focus on the fitness development of players and match preparation so come along and find out what motivates and inspires a double Gold medallist.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
7.30am: Arrival tea and coffee and networking opportunities
7.45am - 8.00am: Breakfast is served
8.30am: Presentation begins, draws to a close with Q&A
9.10am -10.00am: Members and guests invited to network further or depart
