Skipper returns as triallists come and go
Carlos Edwards is set to be included in the squad for Saturday’s game at Middlesbrough.
The Trinidad and Tobago international missed the draw against Huddersfield with a groin injury but returned to training this week.
“We are pretty injury free at the moment,” Town boss Paul Jewell told the Club website.
“Carlos is fit and okay for Saturday and we have virtually a full squad to pick from although Tommy Smith won’t be back in the country until this afternoon after international duty for New Zealand, which is not ideal obviously.”
Paul also confirmed that former Blackburn and Cologne defender Kevin Pezzoni is on trial at the Club but added that Bilel Mohsni had returned to Paris after declining the opportunity to spend this week with Blues.
“We had Bilel Mohsni here from Southend for a few days and we asked him to stay for this week because we wanted to have a longer look at him but he decided against it so that’s over now,” added Paul.
