Defender believes draw with Barnsley should be regarded as a point earned
Aaron Cresswell believes Town should look at the positives from today’s draw against Barnsley and regard it as a ‘good point’.
The left-back fired Blues in front after six minutes following a well worked corner routine, before Stephen Dawson pegged Town back in the second-half.
“It’s been tough recently so we’ve got to take the positives from the game,” Aaron told the Club website.
“I thought first-half we knocked the ball about well but to be fair to Barnsley, they’ve had us under pressure towards the end so I think we have to take the positives from the game and look at it as a good point.
“Defending comes first for me but if a goal comes my way then it’s a bonus and I’m delighted to have scored today.
“We’ve worked on the routine in training for a while now and luckily for me it came off today and it gave us a great start, but unfortunately it wasn’t quite enough for the win.”
