PAUL COULD FACE SURGERY

21 September 2012

Broken bone in foot sidelines Tayls and Chops is a doubt for Charlton as well

Paul Taylor has sustained a broken bone in his foot and may need surgery.

The 24-year-old striker limped off during the second-half of the defeat by Wolves on Wednesday and left the ground on crutches.

“Paul had a scan yesterday and it’s not good news,” Town boss Paul Jewell told the Club website.

“He has broken a bone in his foot and will be seeing a specialist in two weeks. He has not ruled out surgery being needed.

“It’s a big blow for us because he’s had a bright start for us but we can’t mope around. We have to get on with it.”

Michael Chopra is also a concern with a thigh injury with the boss rating him “very doubtful” for the visit of Charlton tomorrow.
