Former Tottenham and Portsmouth defender to spend week with Blues
Town have taken former Tottenham and Portsmouth defender Ricardo Rocha on trial.
The 33-year-old defender trained with Blues yesterday with boss Paul Jewell telling the Club website: “Ricardo is here for the week and we will take it from there.”
He arrived in England in a £3m move to Tottenham in 2007 but his first-team chances were limited at White Hart Lane and after a year on loan at Standard Liege, he joined Portsmouth in 2010 where he went on to make 76 appearances before becoming a free agent at the end of last season, with the club relegated to League One.
He is capped six times by Portugal.
