Former Wolves man delighted with the variety of strikers at the Club and is backing everyone in the squad to play their part from now until the end of the season
Frank Nouble believes the strength in depth of the Town squad will play a key role as we reach the business end of the season.
Blues boss Mick McCarthy made five changes to the side that beat Leeds United on Saturday, with Frank being one of those players to come into the starting line-up against Milwall on Easter Monday.
Striker Frank, who arrived at Portman Road in January, is now backing his teammates to steer Blues to safety and admits all players understand the selection policies of the manager.
“It’s good to have competition in the squad,” Frank told the Club website.
“It keeps everybody on their toes, which can only be a good thing and we have a wide range of strikers at the Club, who are all different types of players which is the pleasing thing.
“Obviously you’ve got me, Didsy (McGoldrick), Murph (Murphy), Chops (Chopra), Macca (Mclean)- a real blend of differing strikers and that variety is definitely needed.
“I’m sure every player will play their part during the last few weeks of the season and it’s good to have fresh players available.”
