Talbot, Brazil and Stockwell added to roll of honour at Town

Brian Talbot, Alan Brazil and Mick Stockwell were inducted into the Ipswich Town Hall of Fame at a gala dinner tonight. 

More than 200 guests were at the 34th Ex-Players Reunion Dinner held in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite at Portman Road.

Brian was recognised for his exploits for Town that included being a key part of the side that lifted the FA Cup in 1978. 

Alan, now rated as one of the top sports presenters on radio, was in the UEFA Cup winning team of 1981 while Micky spent 15 years at Portman Road and clocked up over 500 appearances for the Club. 

Dale Roberts, a player and coach at Town, and alongside George Burley as assistant manager when Blues reached the Premier League with Play-Off final victory in 2000, was recognised with the Posthumous award.

Former Town chairmen John Kerr and David Sheepshanks were rewarded for their many years service to the Club with each receiving a Special Merit Award.
