Wideman on crutches as injury forces loan spell to end at York

Josh Carson was back at the Town training ground on crutches today after sustaining a broken foot while on loan at York.

The 19-year-old Northern Ireland international will be sidelined for the rest of the season after fracturing a metatarsal during the 1-1 draw with Accrington Stanley at the weekend.

Josh made five starts for the Minstermen, who are managed by Nigel Worthington, the wideman’s former international boss.
