Carlos looking to keep up successful record against Wednesday this weekend as Blues look to confirm Championship status

Carlos  Edwards is hoping Town can confirm their place in the Championship for next season with a win at his ‘lucky’ ground this weekend.

Blues travel north to take on Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday, a stadium that has brought plenty of success for our skipper over the years.

“I think I’ve got a 100% record against them and Hillsborough has been a successful ground for me personally,” explains Carlos in an exclusive interview with Ipswich Player.

“Every time I’ve played there, not just for Ipswich but with my previous clubs as well, I’ve managed to get on the scoresheet and be on the winning side each time too.

“I don’t want to blow my flute too quick but obviously I’m looking for the same outcome this weekend and hopefully that can be the result that confirms that we are safe.

“The lads are confident after beating Palace and the dressing-room is really bubbly at the moment. We know we aren’t safe yet but we are determined to change that with a positive result on Saturday.”
