Defender disappointed not to take a share of the spoils but insists Town must pick themselves up ahead of Palace clash on Tuesday

Richard Stearman was left disappointed that Blues didn’t claim a share of the spoils after seeing Hull take all three points with a late winner at Portman Road.

Robert Koren headed home a late winner for the Tigers, after Anthony Wordsworth had earlier cancelled out Robbie Brady’s opener from the penalty spot.

“It’s a point lost today, I think,” Stearo told the Club website.

“They were on top for the first-half and we were on top in the second-half. Obviously we are very disappointed to have given away a goal right at the end there.

“It could have been a different story on another day, as I felt we had chances to win the game, but even still we should have held out for a point.

“We needed to see the game out, which we have done in previous weeks, and it’s very disappointing to concede a late goal. We’ve just got to pick ourselves up now and go again on Tuesday (against Crystal Palace).”
