Midfielder looking forward to home debut and is calling on Town to bounce back from opening two defeats

Cole Skuse has told the Club website that he is excited to make his home debut for Town and is hoping to secure a first win of the season against Millwall.

The Blues started the season with defeat to Reading on the opening day of the season, before exiting the Capital One Cup at the hands of Stevenage last night.

But Cole insists it isn’t time to start hitting the panic buttons and believes the game against Steve Lomas’ Lions at Portman Road is the perfect chance to kick-start the season.

“We’re only two games in so we aren’t going to start panicking but at the same time, you don’t want to be playing catch up,” the midfielder told the Club website.

“We’ve looked good in pre-season and played with a lot of freedom and we need to get back to those levels again.

“The fans have been brilliant in both away trips and it will be nice to play in front of a home crowd at Portman Road at the weekend.

“It’s a stadium I’ve always enjoyed playing at throughout my career so to run out as a Blue this time will be special.

“It’s also a chance for us to kick-start the season and rectify the two defeats so far by getting a first win on the board.”
