Big striker speaks to Ipswich Player after securing his future at Portman Road by signing a new contract

Frank Nouble has expressed his delighted at signing a new contract with Ipswich, committing him to the Club until the summer of 2015.

The former Wolves man popped into Portman Road on Friday to sign his new deal and told Ipswich Player that it was nice to feel wanted at a Club ‘heading in the right direction’.

“I’m delighted to have signed a new contract and I think there are good things happening at the Club, so I’m really pleased to be staying,” the striker told Ipswich Player in an exclusive interview to be broadcast tomorrow.

“I think the Club is looking good at the minute and it feels as if we are definitely heading in the right direction.

“We finished last season well and you can feel that the optimism has carried into this year. Hopefully we can keep that going this season and try and be near to the top of the League

“It’s good for me personally as I feel wanted here. This time last year I was at Wolves and not really featuring but different managers have different ideas and I’m just thankful that the gaffer and TC (Terry Connor) see something in me and have made me part of their plans.

“I love it here at Ipswich and I want to keep progressing with the Club. I certainly see my long-term future here so I’m delighted to get the contract sorted out.”
