Barry Manilow in concert at Portman Road next year
The singer-songwriter, one of the biggest names in the music industry, with a string of hits including Copacabana, Mandy, I Can’t Smile Without You and Could It Be Magic, is in the UK next year for an eight date tour which also sees him appearing in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and Southampton.
Manilow is the latest big name to appear in concert at Portman Road, following in the footsteps of P!nk, who starred at the home of the Blues in 2010, as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers, REM, Neil Diamond and Sir Elton John amongst others.
Then little known singer James Blunt got his break as support act to Sir Elton when he appeared at Portman Road in June 2004.
Full tickets details for the concert will follow soon.
